The FDA Commissioned Inspector assists the FDA in enforcing retail establishment's compliance with the Tobacco Control Act, particularly as it relates to a reduction in youth tobacco use and access within a given state or territory. This is a part-time, on-call position working outside school hours and some weekends.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Language: English Fluency (oral and written)
Experience: It is preferred, but not necessary, that Inspectors have had some experience in the area of law enforcement, health, food inspection or drug inspection.
Knowledge: Must have valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and pass FDA-mandated background checks and training
Hours: Flexible and able to work after school hours and on weekends as necessary
Location: Must reside in Pennsylvania
